Ó

splodger15 is back with a whole load of new updates for PSP Turismo. Thanks to input from "family Beta testers," the speed in PSP Turismo was deemed too fast and was changed. There is a new speed change feature, though: when you move up a level, the speed increases.

Scoring and Health have also been added to this release, as well as a feature that lets you go back to the map while playing the game. The music option was removed from this version, as according to splodger15, it took up too much room. Future releases will give players a choice to download either a music-option-free version or one with the music option enabled.

Here's a list of what else is new:
  • map code added (thanks to gunntims0103 for helping out with map code)
  • added map pic
  • added option to pick a circuit
  • added circuit selection sprites
  • added scrolling ability through circuit sprites
  • Scoring (Goes up every car you pass)
  • Health (If health reaches 0 gameover)
  • Gameover screen
  • Code compiled to stop theft
  • Levels have been added
  • New menu graphics
  • 3 different tracks added
  • Added Writing to the screen to tell you what level you are on.
  • Fixed a bug in the scrolling
The next release will include a car select option as well as a high score option. For bug reports and suggestions, click on the "discuss" link below. Please note that while the archive is named "PSPTurismoV0.zip", it in fact contains v0.4.
