"Finally I am releasing v3, i believe this will be my final release of Anime Style, but i might come back with a mod of a different kind, still thinking about it though.. Hope you all like this version, there were reports of minor bugs with the pics, thats been fixed up now, and a couple pics were cleared up and replaced, Thx to RomTheStampede, If it wasnt for him, this mod would not be no wheres near as good. I personally started working on this because i wanted to play it myself, then i saw alot of people liked the 1st version, so i continued it, im glad that it came out as good as it is. I hope everyone likes this version, as it is my final release of Anime Style."
Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of this mod. There are still a lot of anime out there that has very good music like Ghost in the Shell and NANA (Mika Nakashima and Tsuchiya Anna just plain rocks). I was ecstatic that, although version 1 and version 2 sparked a bout of heated discussions over anime, Monkeyboy1916 didn't get discouraged and continued to release new versions of this Anime Style mod for the PSP Revolution. Much appreciated.
Let us start with graphics. I can't even begin how vividly gorgeous the new backgrounds are. I'd miss a few arrows, because I kept looking at the background. Maybe they're a little too good? I kid. I guess we have RomTheStampede to thank for that. This improvement in graphics is also evident in the selection screen. I like how the song titles are visual representations of the actual songs. Deep Forest by Do As Infinity has this nature feel to it, and how L'arc~en~Ciel is spelled, complete to the last tilde.
And now to my favorite part - the music.
Naruto
In Naruto, I honestly would have preferred suggestions made by AnimeBlack on his comment. Haruka Kanata by Asian Kung Fu Generation and Viva Rock by Orange Range even R*O*C*K*S by Hound Dog would have made a better choice than Naruto and Kakashi's theme.
Inu Yasha
Very good selection in this song pack. Except that it's Namie not Namio. The added tracks are extremely bubbly and danceable. Great job.
Full Metal Alchemist
Yellow Generation is right there for me next to Zone. Thanks for adding their music. But, I've reserved my best praises (and superlatives) to express my thanks for adding Laruku's Ready Steady Go. Hats off to you.
Bleach
I think the success this anime garnered is very much deserved. The storyline is amazing. But I was a little bit crushed that you didn't have a background image for Younha's Houki Boshi. I was actually looking forward to cute chibis in this song. She has a new album out too by the way. This girl is too kawaii.

Awesome mod, well done.
I thought i fixed that bug to where the background didnt show up for Houki Boushi, it is there, to get it to show up, just delete the banner, then put the banner back on, then the background will show up, i guess ill have to fix that, i guess it isnt over after all, lol.
I think the mod is great, and I love anime. but the arrow scripts need a serious makeover. They don't feel good while playing, some are out of temp, and many signature parts of the music are missing(as there arent any arrows for the part)
Yeah it still only shows Houki Boushi on the background... ^^'

ANIME RULES
MonkeyBoy1916, you should go for a V4. A few more songs would be nice, and maybe work on making the arrows more in-sync with the music. Though, its still an excellent job, byfar one of the best mods to any app.
As if DDR couldn't get any gayer, an anime version comes out! lol
this anime style v3 works on my psp but it would be better if you could put more songs in it and great work

Well, cartoons and homosexuality are hardly coherent. especially now that most anime contain light ecchi elements, its even more unlikely. That is unless you are watching yaoi or shoujo. That in mind, if it's gay, why does it bother you? are you scared/in doubt? Pathetic.
And the game is atm too easy, me, a ddr failure manages to do full combos, or misses full game combos by 1 bad. But thats a good thing for me, veterans may be bored tho. I second that on the Tank!(by seatbelts from cowboy bebop), I can post you graphics if you want, I would like to help you with the mod but I'm really bad in ddr so I wouldn't be a good arrow scripter

i mean to say that i can make the menu MUSIC one of the FF prelude songs. also i could do a character theme pack. a fighting pack (all battle/boss themes) and anything else i can think of. any song from final fantasy 1 all the way to 10-2!

Yeah, whoever had that SS is not the best at this game. (Not to diss him/her, he/she most likely has more of a life than I, and I sucked at the game at first too) Since I enjoy braging, I will now post my score for that same song on Maniac, the hardest, dificulty on my second time through. To #20 (BNNB). I do not give you permission to continue my work, i will continue this project, i will make cowboy bebop themes as well. Im still determining about wat to add to v4, but there will be a v4 of Anime Style. I hereby state that you have no permission from me at all to take my project and continue it, reason being, i am not done with it yet. Maybe once i am done, you can continue it ( but not likely since it will be complete ). If you want, you can make your own mod, with your own pictures and beats and songs, but do not take anything from my release as it is my work, and you cannot contuinue it. Its nothing personal or anything, but i dont think we should have any one working on it rather than the creator.

I hear you. And even the most macho of anime have some element of yaoi or shounen ai in them I think. Same goes for yuri and ecchi. Crazy Japanese culture I guess. ^^
i hope you can also put the ddr1 in it,i mean the whole game coz it had only few songs,maybe it is possible to compress that.and also put some kamen rider songs in it. :)

I had to shorten all the file names, and add #BACKGROUND and #BANNER to the files, and now it works
(got stuck whenever I selected a package earlier, now doesn't)

This mod is cool it has inspired me to release my psp revolution mod that I made when V0.1 was first released. My mod is a anime/game music mod. now the only thing that I need to do is select the songs that are going to be packed with the first released........

If you need some songs from the Final Fantasy anime just tell me I already have some made for psp revolution.
That reason would be that a lot of wallpaper artists put a lot of time into them. All I'm saying is that I hope the author of this homebrew gave credit where credit was due.
I know the author of the FMA image with all the feathers and birds, and know they wouldn't be to impressed at their image being used without accreditation.
All the pics for this game have been aquired online, they were on numerous sites, and all those sites never game credit for the creator, so dont cry to me for not giving credit for the authors of the pics. They dont deserve credit anyway, cuz all they did was make a pic for the community to have, and all i did was use that pic in a project, plus there picture was not copyrighted, so technically i have full rights to do as i please with the pic.
now get more fma and inuyaha and get knights of the zodiaz i kno its off topic but get some linkin park on that ***** and 30 seconds to mars
