PSP homebrew developer Benjamin999 has released a new homebrew game called Platform Portable. As the dev describes it, Platform Portable is "a simple platform 'n jump game for the PSP. Your goal is to collect as many targets as possible in order to raise your score and beat the highscore. If your score is getting higher, the game is accelerating and it's getting harder to reach the next platform."
The game is still in version 0.1, so there are still a lot of features that the dev plans to implement in future releases. Platform Portable is an entry in the ongoing Genesis PSP homebrew coding competition.

- Standard platform principle (jumping, doublejump, ground)
- Save the highscore to scores.bin (binary so you can't edit your highscore with notepad )
- Animating character
- Speed up (after every 2000 points)
- Random platform generation
- More characters
- Background music
- Achievements
