Mario Road hasn't popped in for a while now. If you don't remember, here's the deal: you control Mario and the goal is all about collecting stars and dodging foes. If you hit a banana, you lose one point. Hitting Bowser or Wario spells game over.

Now it seems like PSP developer Muhie dropped the project, the last version being v1.0. That's where Malliet comes in. He got permission to take on the project once more and has released a new version - and a bit of a name change too.

Mario's Road v2.0 has the following changelog:
  • New Screens For Menu, Credits etc.
  • Game Written By Malliet Now (Originally From Muhie) And New Graphics By 8166UY
  • Added Some Nice Sounds
  • Added 2 More Levels; 5 Levels In Total Now
  • Nice Background Music (Currently Only In Level 1)
  • New Level Backgrounds
  • Fixed the bug with the bananas; you could drive over them without losing points.. this has been fixed; Now you lose 1 point if you drive over them.
  • Custom EBOOT with music etc.
Malliet points out that there are two known bugs: Wario doesn't move well, and the Bowser sprite doesn't change. He says he'll fix these in the next version, but for now, you can send in some suggestions and other feedback via the forums.
