Defense Station Portable - Image 1It's time to come home. After leaving the PSP to trek its way to the iPhone, Danzel's Defense Station Portable has finally made its way back to where it came from, and we're all geared up for a thundering welcome applause. Defense Station Portable v2 is back, and it definitely is here to stay on your PSP.

Those of you who missed the original heyday of this app (the only reason for you to have missed it is that you were still busy drooling in your stroller), DSP sports gameplay similar to a tower defense game. Put up towers strategically in your location, armed with cannons, lasers, anti-air guns, the works, for you to protect yourself against an incoming attack. You'll earn some cash too by wiping out your enemies, which of course you can then use to upgrade your weapons.

For DSP v2, you'll have four maps with 50 waves each (unfortch, the Nile Map wouldn't fit on the PSP, so that's a no go for this version). There are also now 15 Unlockable Achievements, and quirkier sound effects. Go on, have fun now.

» great homebrew

I've spent countless hours on one of the early releases, and I'll give a try to this new version. The fact that you can create your own maps and use your own graphics gives it a great replay value. I loved the Warcraft mod!
