Rubik's Cube - Image 1

Thrice the fun times thrice the dimensions time thrice the frustration. Exter has released a new version for his Rubik's Cube homebrew game. If you're familiar with how Rubik's Cubes go (besides, we've had a handful of Rubik brew before from different authors too), then this shouldn't come as a brainbender to you.

The rules are simple: just twist the rows of colors to have one solid color showing in one face of the cube. Here's the changelog for v1.3:
  • Back and Back Inverted moves.
  • Cube solve and scramble animations.
  • Move counter at the top right of the screen.
  • Session saving.
There is actually a formula to solve the cube, one which I've tried once and successfully finished a cube. Don't ask me about it again though - it was pure hell, even if I had the instructions on hand at that time.

I own a real one of these and can solve it 100% of the time in under 2 minutes flat.

Yeah I know, big farkin deal :)

It's worth pointing out that over 95% of people who ever buy one of these for real never learn to solve it.

It's also worth noting that until you learn the algorithms to solve it, you probably won't be able to do it.

The dev is right, the Rubik's is one of those puzzles you need to learn to solve in order to solve. There's specific patterns and algorithms you need to know in order to do it.

Great brew btw :)
