PSP homebrew - Aereo |

As their entry for the Genesis PlayStation Portable homebrew competition, Sting18 and TeamMex have released a homebrew game called Aereo, a sidescrolling shooter set in space. The objective is, as it is with pretty much all sidescrolling shooters, to shoot down anything that stands in your way. You can also collect power ups littered throughout the game.
Aereo is available in three language versions. The download included in this post is for the English version. You can also get Spanish and German versions of the game here.
Controls:
- D-Pad: Move ship (in game), move menu
- Square: Shoot
- Circle: special power
- Triangle: Shield
- Start: Pause
- Cross: Select (in menu)
The Genesis compo is open to all PSP homebrew developers out there. If you have a game that you want to enter, submissions are open until May 15. You stand to win some money, so try and come up with a good app or game. More details on the contest can be found here.
