PSP Drug Lord Unnofficial update |
Ó
Still fresh from releasing the popular PSP Encyclopedia v0.1, gunntims0103 has come by our forums to provide an update to a game originally released by JNJC back in May. The name of the game's PSP Drug Lord, and the game involved drug trafficking, trying to make as much money as you can in as little time, not getting caught by the cops, and of course, staying alive throughout the game. The aim is to buy drugs when the price is just right and then selling them at a higher price when the demand for them is high, much like the game dope wars for PC or for Java-enabled phones.
gunntims0103's update to this game (as he humbly admits) simply adds an improved refresh rate for greater gameplay and 1.0 and 1.5 EBOOT, as PSP developing wasn't as advanced back in May when the game was originally released as it is nowadays. Becoming a successful Drug Lord isn't all that easy, so here's a few tips we had from the original release for completing this homebrew game:
- There are money lenders in the game, and they will help you with your cash problems. Just be sure that you pay them back on time as they don't like late payers.
- You need around $50 a day for you to be able to survive on the street. If you run out of cash, you'll have to sleep on the streets and eventually, this will take a toll on your health.
- Shopping for self-protection is very important in this game. There are other individuals and groups out there that are also dealing like you, and they'd want you out of business to make some more money for themselves.
- Money is essential in this game, especially since you'll need cash to get yourself treated in the hospital after every encounter with other street dealers.

Great game. It's almost like dope Wars, but better.
I always love this game no matter what platform, the first release had a ton of bugs in it so i stoped playing it. the money and drug amounts get to rediculas numbers and i think the same with loans, i hope theyr fixed. im sure they are anyone that played the game through a couple times would have noticed. BTW: it's nice to not see any 1st posters!!!! man that drives me nuts. Thanks dev, Keep those updates comming :)
Do I need LUAplayer to play this? And will it work with 2.80's xLoader?
its in eboot form so NO you dont need the lua player...
This guy is great! He's certainly on a roll because this game, as well as the encyclopedia, are really well coded and thorough. It's good to see that we aren't seeing many half-assed lua releases that will never finish anymore and seeing hard work like this.
Was that some sarcasm i heard their? Because this isnt even his game if you saying this is crappily coded.

Does this game crash like a car with no breaks for anyone else?
