myschoo has updated his Phil's Shooting Range, the homebrew shooting game for the PSP, to v0.3. The GTA-inspired shooter is myschoo's first Lua game although it doesn't need a LUA Player. To install, simply copy the two PSR folders to the PSP/GAME and you can start your trigger-happy hour.

If you're a GTA fan, Phil's Shooting Range isn't going to be a total stranger. This shooter uses the same controls as the game:
  • X: New Game
  • HOME: Exit to XMB
  • O: Shoot
  • Analog stick: Move with crosshair
In Phil's Shooting Range v0.3, myschoo listed the following changes:
  • Added a highscore system
  • Added objective
He's still working on adding more targets and time trials, improving the graphics and fixing any bugs that may crop up in this version. But we're pretty sure he'll get them all by the time he rolls out his next update. Meanwhile, you can download Phil's Shooting Range v0.3 right now.
