Guess who!!!

cools just came out with Pencil Puzzles v2, which was an original (meaning version 1) homebrew by ARza. The object of the game is to fill in tiny boxes by using the mini-grids on the sides as a guide on what specific boxes to fill in. When you're done, you get to see a video game character. It now works fine with PSP, and some of the new/improved things are:
  • Puzzle Select Screen
  • New Backgrounds
  • Credits Screen
  • and Screenshot function (L+R+UP for JPG, and L+R+DOWN for PNG)
ARza suggests that users create a "Pencil Puzzles" folder in your PSP/PHOTO directory in the memory stick. The game works like a charm, and is actually quite addicting after you get the hang of it! If you want to create your own puzzles, there's a Custom Puzzle Creation Kit in the .zip file that you can refer to. AZra and Mister Chief also contributed to create the backgrounds. Thanks, you guys!

Great to see an update to this! My fiance is addicted to Pencil Puzzles. Some positve feedback would be if there is another update, then there should be a button you can hold in to m,ake the cursor move faster.

Great work! Thanks again!

# Nice, but not so responsiveGuest 2006-09-09 07:10
Very nice game. I love playing it.

A great improvement could be on the responsiveness. If I tap real fast on my D-pad the cursor only moves once in 20 taps or so... I'd love to be able to move as fast as I can tap (or close to that)
