Pencil Puzzle v1

Lua coder Arza from our forums has today released a new homebrew game for all the puzzle game lovers out there. Titled Pencil Puzzles v1, the object of this game is to fill in tiny squares one by one, until you are finished and the squares will form the shape of a video game character. Now if that brief explanation still sounds a bit difficult for you, it's your lucky day. Arza has included a brilliant how-to-play section in order for you to learn.

The catch, you ask? Unfortunately, there is one. At the moment, Arza can't seem to get the game running lag-free on Lua Player for the PSP but it runs perfectly on Lua Player for Windows, which comes packaged with the download. If anyone wishes to help Arza with this lag problem, please contact him in the forum release thread. Otherwise, this is a perfect game and is quite addictive once you get used to the Lua Player for Windows controls.

Arza hopes to have it running on the PSP for the next release; for now, Windows users can just click the 'index.cmd' file in order to play the game. Mac or Linux users cannot run this at present, so if you are slightly disappointed, let Arza know vie the release thread or the comments section.

Controls:

PSP | PC
X = C -- Turns square black
O = F -- Turns square white
Select = A --Exits to game menu
R = W -- Scrolls pages of blocks
L = Q -- Scrolls pages of blocks
Note = Print Scrn --Takes snapshot

Update:

Cools has sent an unofficial update and says :"I just replaced 2 with 0 in the map table and now it works on the PSP! - ALL CREDIT GOES TO ARZA"

The reason it wasnt working on the PSP was that it would load all the white squares in the boxes, which wasnt needed. So I just made it not load the white boxes by replacing 2 with 0 so it wouldnt load 1000+ white 5x5 square! The value for 2 was white square the value for 1 was black square and 0 wouldnt display anything, but since the background has the grid in it, it doesnt need it
