The latest release candidate of OpenTTD is now out. For the uninitiated, OpenTTD is a PSP clone of the Microprose game Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Read on for the changelog for the PSP version, courtesy of Jaime (thanks for the heads-up dude!).

Changelog for v0.5.0 RC5:
  • Midi background music finally supported using libtimidity.
  • NewGRF support works now due to new file handling.
  • New fileio handling to allow psp open more than 10 graphics files.
  • Now full keyboard support & multiplayer chat.
  • PSP OSK keyboard replaced with danzeff OSK.
  • Code updated to v0.5.0-RC5, compatible with latest online servers.
OpenTTD has been tested on and supports firmware 1.50 as well as 3.XX OE firmwares. Other firmwares/mods that are able to run 1.50 executables with kernel access should work too. For installation and usage instructions, check the readme file included in the download.

Well this is not the announcement i submitted, so here the Changelog for the psp version:

* Midi background music finally supported using libtimidity.

* NewGRF support works now due to new file handling.

* New fileio handling to allow psp open more than 10 graphics files.

* Now full keyboard support & multiplayer chat.

* PSP OSK keyboard replaced with danzeff OSK.

* Code updated to v0.5.0-RC5, compatible with latest online servers.

And NOOOO roller coaster cannot be ported because source code isn't public. Just games with available source could be ported.

TTD wasn't opensource aswell, they just RE it, improved it and called it OpenTTD

TTD wasn't open source, so people decompiled it and used the assembly to build OpenTTD. Because of that, OpenTTD's legality is debated, even though most of it is new code now.

A PC game, ported to PSP. Sounds like 99% of official PSP games, only with the word "PC" replaced with "Really bad PS2". Good thing homebrew tides me over until people make original stuff for PSP.
