OpenBoR v2.0051 for PSP/DC/DOS/WIN

It's been a while since we last updated you guys on SamuraiX's OpenBoR (almost two months in fact, our bad). So to make up for that brief hiatus, we're here to bring you guys his latest update to his BeatEm UP Engine.

For v2.0051, SamuraiX says that there have been a few features added but only if you're a modder. He assures us though that PSP and DC users will also appreciate one of the new features he's added in this version of his homebrew game, which is the Sprite Database Management. Let's get the lowdown on this straight from SamuraiX, shall we?

Modders tend to reuse sprites such as walking, running, etc... over and over and instead of allocating space for every sprite I now reuse the original sprite and its ID. So what does this mean to you then gamer....2MBytes of RAM has been saved on mods like Final Fight Appocolypse 2nd and Battle Toads. However, a huge mod like A Tale Of Vengence we are saving 8MBytes of memory.

And of course, he's also fixed some bugs from the previous version, but he says that if you find any more bugs, you can post it at his site (link below) where, as SamuraiX says, "you can also find the weekly updates to the engine and all the mods you can handle." So with that, we'll just let you guys check out OpenBoR v2.0051 for yourself, just click on the link below and you're all set.
