No Gravity update from RealTechVR |
Ó
The folks over at RealTechVR are on the verge of making a homebrew breakthrough with their highly anticipated project, No Gravity. The PSP homebrew community rejoiced when word of this awesome 3D arcade-style space shooter first hit various internet channels, and everybody's been on the lookout for any form of update related to it.
That's exactly what we have here. According to team RealTechVR, they're deep into beta testing and tweaking No Gravity's gameplay. They're also still on track in terms of development, and release "is still aimed for this summer". We've taken the liberty of sorting out the updates and listed features in their site, here they are:
- All levels are done
- new and improved weapons
- new 3D models
- new spacecraft (unlockable)
- improved audio
- French and English translation
Lastly, if you've been living under a rock the last few exciting months and missed the day this great (hopefully, trend-setting) PSP game was announced, we're providing the download link for its demo below. It's really something any hard follower of the PSP homebrew scene shouldn't miss.
Thanks to TheRealMcCoy for the tip!

This is awesome. And BAM! No first comment Mwuahahahhaha.
YESS!! great job you guys!!
No Gravity stands as a testament to the power of the PSP homebrew community. It's just a shame that those with official firmware above 1.50 can't play it.
FIFTH POST LOSERS, IAM THE KING OF PSPUPDATES! I WILL TAKE MY THRONE AT FIRST PLACE ON THE NEXT JUMP!!
I never post comments, but this game just blew me away. Simply brilliant !!! Keep it up !!
lolz what r be new on this new relees? i sees nothing :/
custom firmwares! And THIS GAME FREAKING ROCKS!!! it is the best example to show my friends what hombrew can do in terms of graphics and gameplay. I speifically love the music. MORE AWSOME MUSIC PLEASE!!! (it matches the game perfectly, i have never seen a commercial game capture that.)
This game isn't developed by a homebrew community. This game is made by REAL developers at RealTechVR. The best the "homebrew community" can give you is games like "Shoot the dustballs".
THIS IS SO F*CKING SWEEEEET!!!!
I disagree about the music. The music in the Prince of Persia games matches the games very well, in my opinion.
I cant wait.
The homebrew community isn't only made up of you script kiddies. It's much larger than QJ.net...
This is a fantastic achievement, its looks and plays better than a lot of games out there on the shelves.
ummm this is not a homebrew dev( well it is in a sense) but it says right in the readme "Notes: ========== This program is an 'homebrew' game, an is an unsigned application and is approved / supported by Sony. Use at your own risk." dont you think that if sony is allowing homebrew on this scale along with the flash access we have with homebrew, that this could actually be some sort of trick? i dunno just intuition kicking in... Not that i'm knocking the game itself, i dowloaded the first demo and was blown away by it. But i dont remember the quote from above being in the previous demo.(i could be mistaken tho.)
you are mistaken, it was there :)
how is a homebrew game "Approved" by sony?wtf i'm really confused now...
"The best the "homebrew community" can give you is games like "Shoot the dustballs"." unofficial psp game + homebrew. no question about that
sense the game doesent hack the psps its just like any other homebrew they dont need an approval they dont charge for it so their it is
It was there before but they said that it was a typo. Not sure why they haven't fixed it yet.
This is not bad for a demo but it is rather blured and the gui needs sharpening up again its blurred.
the game was made for the PC and is just being ported over, if you read the website you would see that :P
