Realease it already damn it!
They'd better not put it on UMD. Even if they do, I'm still getting it because it's such a good game.
How would they put it on a UMD you n00b?
Its homebrew DUH!
There not 3rd partygame devs for sony.
And great game cant wait
Shows what the PSP can do with homebrew
@ Above: They were trying to negotiate with Sony to sign the eboot and have them (Sony) release it on the PSN, that way all PSP's could have access to it, regardless of firmware. Read their previous updates on their website to see what I mean.
actually realtech-vr was (and probably still is) in talks with Sony to convert it to EBOOT format and release it as a download via the PS Store...dont go calling people idiots unless you know all the facts first...
I wonder if they will charge money for it?
We dont know this far what could happen...
First, obviously as some kind of homebrew, they made it free... Then, they want it to be available for every psp
possible (therefore making it sony official)
Second, the most possible way for making it reach the whole public, is the PS Store, then if it were free it would be nice, but they could also charge some cash for it,
-Sony agreement to release something needs incoming money or something valuable
-Their development effort deserves some money about it
Then, we could be paying like 5 or 10 dollars for it (I think the devs wanted to not charge for it, but this far they could be thinking about that)...
Also, if some homebrew were released free in the PS Store, other homebrew developers would want their things to be officially released, therefore there would be a flood of incoming messages to sony (hey that would be nice homebrew in OFW which is a dream we have)
But again, that wouldnt be profitable to sony since they are charging for lots of stuff released in the store, and the free homebrew would make the $ official stuff less important, then sony would make devs charge for homebrew in PS Store, then they would get back to us disliking charging for homebrew (or users wouldnt like to pay for something supposed to be free), they would come to the CFW where homebrew is free of charge...
And the discussion about homebrew in OFW would come back, with sony denying it JUST BECAUSE its not profitable... official stuff would be in the shadow of homebrew since we would prefer free and funny homebrew games instead of some official games definetively not worth the money...
its like watching in the PS Store "Sony Shell" a total copy of IR Shell, with the IR removed just because PSP Slim doesnt have IR anymore, and you have to pay $5 for it...
So the best way for this coming out is:
-OFW PS Store and charging for it
-CFW Release, free!!!
(I think its not possible to have free homebrew stuff released in PS Store... Again, it would take the attention from official stuff and it is not profitable for sony)
does any1 no if it will be slim compatable? i hope it is i tried the demo and i nearly pooped myself ( no joke lol )
