New Beta: PSP Dungeons DruMod v2 "Radiosi" |

Drew Medina recently informed our forum-going population of the release of a new beta of his DruMod, which is based on Charnold's PSP Dungeons. This version, which he calls PSP Dungeons DruMod 2 "RadioSi" is his second PSP mod, taking some of the characteristics of the previous Dungeon mods and creating his own textures, weapons, and audio for pretty much everything. Version 2, like his first DruMod outing, also requires you to delete PSP Dungeons 3D v0.6 as he uses a new eBoot for this mod.
This homebrew supports twice the resolution of other dungeon mods at 256x256, though at the cost of using twice the memory. On the other hand, it's one of the nicest looking homebrews we've seen. The map is small though, so you may run out of enthusiasm for running around this one level quickly, but it does promise to make future releases a lot more exciting.
It's currently tested to work on PSPs with 1.5 firmwares, so if you know what else can run it, or are willing to try, let him know through our forums or on his site. Better still, you can also view a streaming preview of his game, as he's placed a link on our forums to his little video of the game in action.
His installation instructions are simple though: Copy the entire Dungeons folder into "PSPGAME" folder, so you should see something like "PSPGAMEDungeons" and "PSPGAMEDungeons%". Just remember to read the forums if you're new to installing homebrew. We don't want our readers mucking up their PSPs. Enjoy!

That's a really nice looking mod.
this looks really killer. does anyone know if it works on 2.71 SEC? WTF some chick just popped up in the corner advertising some kind of workout mouse. sneaky Oh yeah and since when does fw 3.02 support homebrew? Just discovered nesterJ (for 271) runs under dv51.1/3.02. Crazy
this looks cool. you should add infarstructure and a sell it cause people would love to play it. I'll try this out now!

I have a 1.5 psp and it doesn't work on mine.

quotes on the forums...can't verify myself from Neveda: "for 2.71se* users, make sure its in /psp/game and that you rename /Dungeons/ to /DUNGEONS/, made it work on SE* for me" from Shadow of Death: "for the 2.8 FWs the DrUMod does work nicely with eloader 995, and just as well with the xloader."

i have 2.71 se-c and all i did was click and drag it into GAME folder and it worked.
does not work on my psp 1.5 all i got was error(80020001) wtf!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a great mod the level is short but it is worth a play looks like a real release title. funner than coded arms thats for sure. A must get. I been playing this one level over and over seeing how long it takes me took me 24 seconds last time.
I like PSP dungeons, but why it always have thos trails? I can't see anything while turning
Use IRshell, It works fine through that.
Renaming the folders did not work for me...so I just used SEI PSP TOOLS to xploit the origional dungeons folder with data and all....then it worked.
Why doesn't somebody make an actual game off of this BEAUTIFUL engine? I mean i've seen all these little room-by-room dungeon games that have FANTASTIC graphics and run smoothly, so why doesn't someone make a full-fledged first person shooter out of it? And as a side note, no this is not criticism, dude this mod is FANTASTIC. I was just saying something :-]
couldnt get it 2 work tried uppercasing it seitooling it and nuthin but a bunch of errors and blank screens ;
