Spring won't even come without some daylight. So homebrew developer dm79 made sure to send some sunshine at the NEO Spring Coding Contest 2008 with the entry, The Chronicle of Mr. Sun.

A side-scroller shoot 'em up for the Sony PSP, The Chronicle of Mr. Sun hopes to win the hearts of gamers from all ages with its good-humored backstory and comic-like graphics. The game won't win any awards for motion support but it promises a complete game experience with these features:
  • five stages each with a boss
  • final boss level
  • Lua player mp3 support
  • simple gameplay
  • stage select
Check back here at QJ.NET as more NEO Spring Coding Contest 2008 entries are expected to arrive before Dr. Neo's deadline on March 20.
