PSP homebrew developer JEMdev (also responsible for the Ted Kennedy's Revenge game) dropped by the QJ.Net Forums some time ago to announce the release of a new Lua-coded homebrew game titled Myspace: The Game!!!!. As its name implies, this game is a humorous simulation of the MySpace experience of eliminating those ever-annoying pop-up ads. There are two simple goals:
- Log in
- Try to stay logged in as long as possible

Search through the code for the word "net". If it's not in there, it's most likely safe.
You forgot to give SG57 credit, because this game is just a graphics mod of one of his... -_-

this is a sucky myspace'd up version of Kill The Popups minus the funny music and words.
i gave him credit, there, but like youresam said the qj bloggers completely ignored that, i'd rectify the situation but im banned from the qj forums.

first off how am i going to change the readme to a game i already released, go to the thread it says its a mod from the beggining not only that but SG57 never called me out on it, in fact he gave me his blessing and said i could take full credit if i wanted to, but i didn't.
i made a game its called Crap: the game. now what you do is you take your psp to the toilet, and when ever you let a turd loose you press the right trigger... then you look in the toilet and throw the memory stick that contains Myspace: the game in it and flush that piece of crap down too.

should it not have helped my self esteem, i thought of something relatively clever and zinged the guy... im feeling pretty good :-)
But it would appear that you have a LITTLE bit of talent, so... Try making something that sucks less. I'll consider this... A.... Proof of concept, that you don't totally suck as a coder. But I expect to see something cool from you sometime in the future. Good luck.

Thats pretty funny. Props to the guy that made this game, but think about it, really. Why would you want to sit there and close popups all day (isnt that why we all have popup blockers). UGH - That game has more detail and sounds more fun, but more spendy and you could only play once or if your lucky, twice a day. LOL.
Wow. Can't wait for the Facebook game now...as if.
This is so lame and stupid. Myspace is a place to meet friends not to be made a game. Man i dont care if it is to destroy pop-ups this is stupid.
If it would steal your password, you'd need to have WiFi turned on.
