FrenchTouchFrenchTouch members - a bunch of French PSP enthusiasts - have created their own LUA games and have released these games in a pack.

FrenchTouch has released these games in its noble attempt at collecting gifts to raise funds for AIDS research. According to the site, this has also been done so that players will be aware about the fight against this disease.

PSP websites who have contributed to any AIDS research websites have their banners on some of the homebrew games to show that they have given gifts to said research sites.

Here now is the list of games created by FrenchTouch members:

SudokuSudoku v0.9c by Arobase - This popular game (also known as Number Place) uses numbers 1 to 9  which will be placed in a cell of a grid. Each column, region, or row should contain only one instance of every number.

Move Your Flower by zouzzz - This is a dancing game (move your flower, get it?) wherein players will only have to keep pushing the key being displayed to "make the flower move."

GTAGTA: Driving Forward by Maxime - The only goal of this game is to drive forward for as long and as fast as the player can using the analog stick or the D-pad to avoid the other cars.

Dangerous Rise by Lua-user - Players will only have to avoid rocks and catch balls in  this "Avalaunch" type game. The background, menu and difficulty settings can be chosen.

Halo: Spatial CombatS: Guilty Spark Invasion by Seb117 - The original game from which this was based on, Space Rocks, was created by Xigency. Players will only have to shoot at every Guilty Sparks to pass the level.
Mario
Mario: Operation espace by Bibi595 - This game is also based on the original Xigency game, Space Rock. The idea is basically the same as the other shooter game in this pack. Players must shoot every single mushroom to pass the level.

to Kurtis : Where did you see AIDS come from France ? In your dreams perhaps...

I hope someone around you will have AIDS, you will understand that research needs money, and it's available for lots of viruses...

Even if games are not really interresting (for myself), it's a good way to find found for AIDS.

And noboby wants your money, some websites had pay for you ;)

In the UK, when AIDS was first discovered, we had an advertising campaign to raise awareness and attempt to stem the tide of infection, particularly amongst those groups that thought they would never be at risk.

The title of that campaign was "Don't Die of Ignorance".

It seems that that sentiment should be resurrected for today's audience. Just goes to show that French Touch are doing essential work, in raising awareness and discussion about the problem.

Why not visit one of the web sites linked from their page, and actually educate yourself about AIDS? Who knows, it might even save your life.

Thank you for this gamepack! Keep up the great work!

I agree that fundrasing for AIDS is important, but perhaps, this might be best left to the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation (and other worldwide charities). PSP users arent exactly a bunch of philantropists, I would feel alot more comfortable donating my money to developers who unlock the secrets of the PSP and waiting for the AIDS walk to participate in or something.

I also think that more money should be raised to help the countries afflicted by AIDS, not just money to fight the disease itself. I'm not saying this is your job, just having a soapbox moment. It will be pretty hard/expensive to distribute a cure to all of impoverished Africa if we ever come up with one...
