I would have to agree that this is not classified as true homebrew as it is not completely original. I applaud the effort and time taken, but stealing registered characters is still stealing.

I've tested this out, and I can tell you that this is a really good game that everyone who plays zelda games should try. If you don't try it, please don't flame here, as I will be forced to find where you live, kill you, skin you and sell your organs on Ebay.

Reason for all the flames

The reason why Zion gets all the flames and very few other dev's do is because of Zion's personality and nature. He seeks out the drama in the scene and never fails to add his two cents. Then he acts all high and mighty as if he's better than others. He talks about how great his own accomplishments are and blames others for his shortcoming. When all else fails, he calls for his lap dog to do his flaming for him (splodger, you know who you are). If he were just a nice guy and contributed to the scene without all the drama, no one would flame him. Unfortunately, he belittles others without a second thought and when they fight back he abuses his powers (which interestingly enough seem to have been stripped recently) or cries to the mods for protection. He can't avoid the drama because he's too much a part of it. You reap what you sow.

IAWTC I wouldn't have a problem with his use of the Link artwork and so on if he didn't go on to say, practically in the same breath, "and don't steal my ideas". That and the fact that he shamelessly blows his own trumpet in pretty much every post he makes. A game with nothing to play?

There is nothing to play for. No monster, only have 3 rooms, 2 npc to talk to. The gameplay is zero. I give it 1/10.

What most of those above said was a bit harsh, but you really can't stand to get anything but praise can you? First off, you beg people to send you psps, and when you get TWO FREE PSPs (second one hasn't arrived yet though) the first thing you do is brick one. Yes, it is entirely your fault that you bricked it, you forgot to go into 1.5 kernel mode instead of 2.71 while you performed the update, it is nobodies fault but your own. Not only that but in the original newspost at DCEmu, you begged QJ to not post this because you hated them so. Of course after you weren't warmly received there, so now you've just flopped sides completely. Continuing your disgrace with this release, you beg nobody to steal "your ideas". This is a 4-room barely interactive non-game whose, name, gameplay, characters, story, and art are based entirely on a commercial game (and some of the art is even directly from commercial LoZs) and you have the audacity to tell people not to steal 'your' ideas?! The biggest problem I had with this, is that it wasn't a release intended to give people something usefull that they could have fun with, it was just a way to get a post in the news to vent all your current issues with the scene: you're pissed off that you broke a PSP that was donated to you, you're pissed off that there was some problem over here with you (and now over at DCEmu), and you're pissed that all your friends and collaboraters over at ZionMax used bits of your LUA scripts in their own stuff. Disgraceful.

1) I played, I even decompiled the code to take a look at it. There was nothing ground breaking or anything to suggest what will be added in the final game. You also have an odd sense of fun. It looks good, it is nicely presentated but there is no game in this demo to play.
