QJ.NET PSP Development Forums member Alex705 has just released an update for IrDA Games, a piece of PSP homebrew that lets users play games using Wii-like controls through the help of the PSP's IR port.

Version 0.7 of IrDA Games adds three new games. The game tally now stands at five single-player titles (Remotefun, Big Bang, Mr. Bucket, iR Bowling and iR Pong) and three multiplayer homebrew games (IrDA Wars, IrDA Soccer, iR Pong).

The games included in the download have also gotten a few updates and features. You can learn more about these new additions by clicking on the Visit link below. Here's the changelog for the homebrew's main system:
  • 3 new games
  • Possibility to create and change themes
  • Option file added, now you can change settings as you like
  • Possibility to listen to your own music while you're playing IrDA Games
  • New Code Structure
Read the readme files included in the download before you install this homebrew game. It's got pretty much all the info you need. If you need further clarifications or bug reports, drop by the IrDA Games release thread by clicking on the Visit link below.

This is great ! A really fun use of the IR port .. Keep up the good work, Could the next step be working out some sort of config mode... It asks you for a signal for up, down, left ........
