As far as classic remakes ported onto Sony's PlayStation Portable handheld go, there's a generous number of homebrew games around that fall into this category. Veteran gamers might recognize MK2k's Heartlight PSP, which was originally created by Epic Megagames in 1994 for the PC.

Ever since the game was available under a Creative Commons license in 2006, this gave the developer motivation enough to port this 2D puzzle platformer to the Sony next-gen handheld. This latest release of the game fills in its compatibility for the other custom firmware asides from its previously released 1.50 kernel support.

Included in the downloadable archive below are all the available versions of the game for custom firmware 1.0, 1.5, and 3.xx. Please make sure to take a look at the Readme.txt file for instructions on how to properly install the game on to your PSP.

In any case, we hope you enjoy reliving this classic 2D game!
