Zion, who also goes by the alias Xx FightStar xX, dropped us a line about a recent update on the homebrew game based off of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo: Genocide. While the previous version was already astounding as it was, the developer reassures us that this is "the closest and most realistic thing so far to being able to play Halo on your PSP." 'Nuf said, right?
Now as Zion says, Halo: Genocide v1.3 is mainly a bug fix release. A couple of lagging and slowdown issues have been resolved, as well as other minor hiccups. Zion is also asking for help from some of the graphic designers out there. Maybe you want to get into the project? Zion elaborates: "Im looking for a gfx artist to make this either better and add more content to it or turn the game into an original shooter."

THE SWEET HOMEBREW GAME! we need people releasing this typa ***** all the time. I seem to have problems with the circle button, i thinks its just my psp though (had it sense day one). But thanks alot for the game!

It's horrible. I'm glad the guy up there put it on rapidshare. It wasn't even worth the trouble of that.
All you do is push left until something appears. Then push X 10 times and the guy disappears. Keep doing that until you die, or run out of your 35 bullets, then die.
Have you considered changing the name of the game?
Sure the Halo bit is cool - but Genocide? It doesent sound really fitting or well appealing.

Thats only if you have any interest in the game. Registering to sites that you probably wont visit again is just plain stupid.

I remember a guy did this game way before and it was much better quality...this is a poor exuse for a homebrew i think this coder is entirley to arrogant...its not worth sighning up for! TRUST ME i have regrets in wasting my time with it thought id share that with you all....
this is about half as good as halo 2d was maybe you and that guy should work together he could teach you a thing or too his name was like master cheaf 2 i think wasnt it? correct me if im wrong?
