I don't download things that are "exclusive", unless it's from somewhere that is distributing it against the owners wishes, cause I think that's just lame to try to force people to your site, especially when you require a signup for the download. The link on the article is NOT down, I just tested it. And the author of Halo Dungeons specifically requested it be an exclusive at Zion Max. All QJ is doing is respecting his wishes. If you don't want to register, than don't download.

Generally speaking, unless the name is being used in a manner to make money, or publicity, they don't really care. And it's not just using the name alone that would be the problem (since it's not a word that they made up), it's the fact that he's using the likeness of the characters along with the name. If you made an FPS game and called it something like "halo fighters", and gave all the good guys halos over their heads, and made sure there was no likeness to the characters from the halo game, you could get away with using halo in the title of your game, even if you where making a profit from it.

They don't put people in jail for pirating. Geez. If you are caught, you get fined. There is no legal way for them to know you downloaded it ,though. They have to confirm it's on your computer, which can only be accessed via search warrant. They don't waste time on piracy when their are drug dealers and murderers.
