PSPKOR has released a new version of his homebrew beat 'em up title coded in Lua, Bruce Lua to v0.2 today. Bruce lua is a homebrew clone of the retro game released for the Zx Spectrum and Commodore 64 consoles back in the 80's. It features side-scrolling gameplay and an enemy AI. The first release of this game, which features martial arts legend Bruce Lee and Street Fighter front-man Ryu, went down well with QJ readers a few weeks ago, and hopefully this release that packs more features and a decent enemy AI should be the same. Here's the changelog:
- Actual game mode now playable thanks to AI.
- Ryu(Enemy) with some Basic A.I.
- Changing color health bar as your health gets lower.
- Side scrolling background, as you walk close to it.
- A score board, to see how well you can do.
