Electris and Reactor standalones for PSP |
Ó
By popular demand Kagato from our forums has released his two homebrew games - Electrics and Reactor - as standalone Eboots today. Not only does this mean that you will find a considerable speed increase when running the games, you also no longer need Lua Player installed to run the games. Electris remains at version 1.0 at the moment whilst Reactor has been updated to version 1.3 today.
In version 1.3 the proton's velocity in Reactor is now timer-based. The framerate may change with CPU load, but the game should play at a constant speed regardless. Kagato has also updated the particle sprites to have a chrome appearance, as a small visual cleanup.

yeeee!
I heard I need a UMD in the drive to run homebrew. Will a UMD movie work? or do I have to buy a game? I just want the psp for homebrew.
This is a nice game. Interesting change from arkanoid. Great use of analog 'nub'. This game would be even more fun if the developer implemented powerups, slowdowns, health kits, etc. keep up the good work. in response to Kevin, you do not need UMD discs to play homebrew. (its for something else, that i won't mention)
I have a psp arriving soon which is homebrew capable. A friend knows how to run homebrew and is willing to show me. But I am not interested in the emulation of retail games. Just homebrew. He said the umd check is just for protection check before running homebrew. He doesn't know if a UMD movie will work? I want to buy a movie.
looks great.. @ Kevin You don't need a UMD at all for launching homebrew! ^.0
now im downloading it !! looks pretty good
woooooooooooooooooot ;D
I've been waiting for an eboot version of Reactor. Thanks Kagato, good job! I hope you make more games in eboot form.
