Think of Die Critters Die v0.5 as a moddable game of PSP roadkill. Run over critters to gain points, avoid cones to minimize damage, and keep running over the poor defenseless bunnies. Simple right?
Well, that's one way to look at it. the_darkside_986 notes that you can also easily add your own gameplay wrinkles by modifying the game's configuration text to add graphics, increase the spawn count of objects, and basically make your game more like a steamroller running over defenseless kittens and ponies rather than a car running over defenseless deer and bunnies.

I think this is one of those addicting games
Thats not very nice...
It's addictive until you get sick of programming and debugging it constantly. I wanted to get my mod music making software out and manually "port" some good tunes to mod format. But anything I make with that would sound annoying and everyone would want to turn it off.
This is a sick and demented game. Probably the worst I have seen so far. What possesses someone to make something so stupid?

Well, probably the same people who play games like GTA maybe. Drive. Kill. Repeat. Commen yet effective formula.
Hey, how about you go program a game and see how 'trashy' it turns out? It's just a little project someone has made to fulfill his or her hobby and wants to share it with the homebrew community...Some people just like to play games (like you?), and some like to make them. It really does bewilder me why you (and others) comment in the ways that you do. If you don't like something about it then atleast explain what it is! Or have you not played it?!
why dont u just buy a ds like everyone else and play some real games? you could play better games than this on an n gage lol/
