CSpsp v1.0 |
Ó
nataku92 has informed us via our forums that he has just updated his Counter Strike-inspired homebrew game for the PSP called CSpsp.
We know it's been quite a while since his last release, so to make up for the hiatus, he added quite a ton of new features for his brew. You'll now be able to go on spectator mode while playing, hear the gunfire and taste your enemies' blood. Okay we're kidding about the last one, but we're dead serious about the other two. So anyhoo, to see the full list of changes for this version, we bring you the all-important...
Changelog:
- Finished path system for bots so they actually don't get stuck
- Implemented spectator mode
- Made con figs for a few more guns
- Implemented ammo/reload system
- Implemented switching weapons (primary, secondary, knife)
- Sound effects for guns (including some basic panning)
- Fixed collision detection between players
- Made score list
- Score history in top-right corner

i didnt know about this! looks pretty cool. but wouldnt it be beter if u just ported cs2d? and guess what retards, im first, so no "im first!" comments please ffs
hahah this is great
this the like, the best homebrew i've played in a long time. The only thing i can't figure out is how to change the controls to absolute mode, i press the music button but nothing happens... Anyway, great game.
this acually looks pretty good, ill try it out
Also, first poast! The lawls! I forgot to mention, does this work on my 2.81?
THE ABOVE COMMENT IS NOT OF JC!
read the first post: "so no "im first!" comments please ffs" and if you count the post you know you're not first. by every homebrew someone does ask"2,81?", and again the answer is NO!!!. if there is an exploit we will tell you.
does this go online?
Awesome stuff, gonna try it out!
this game is one full bodied piece of homebrew. everything from the menus, to AI, to sound is amazing. just please get the control switch working - the sound button doesnt have effect! although the standard mode is kinda fun when you get used to it. adds challange. Mitch
if you go to \CSPSP\cspsp-1.0\CSPSP2\data\config.txt and change movement + relative #(absolute) to movement + absolute #(relative) the problem is fixed! btw, i was looking around in the folders, are there more maps?
JC can stand for things other than "jungle-cat", you know. Ask yourself, are you well-known enough for someone to impersonate you? On topic: Downloading now...
THANKs so much nataku! i thot u quit, but now all my dreams have come true! Greatest CS game ever!
You need to put in custom names too that would be cool!
I CONGRATULATE YOU ON THIS AWESOME PIECE OF HOMEBREW!!! THIS IS THE BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED ON HOMEBREW AND I LOVE IT. if you need help with controls, just press up and use the l and r to change directions. it's way easier that way and pls more maps? or any way we can change the maps?
Man this is awsome! I look forward to the day that we can play the real CS:S on PSP or at least a 1st perspective CS FPS. This can be done off the Doom engine for PSP but this little diddy can hold me till that happens. Thanks
This strongly reminds me of that 2D HL game
yea i know what you mean i think.. you talking about the stick one?
Oh the irony. Incase you are completely mentally inept, it was a joke. Way to go, asshat.
his cool i'm goin to try it out!!!!!!!but when will we see the original CS in our psp!!!!!!i want it badly!!!!!!!my friends would buy psp if they see CS in PSP!!!!!!!! :)
