Console Grab v1 - Image 1

Over at the DCEmu forums, Anonymous D has released the homebrew game Console Grab v1.0. In Console Grab, you're tasked with the control of a giant hand, which you use to grab consoles and handhelds for points. As is standard with games of this sort, you want to keep on picking up these consoles and handhelds to beat your high score.

Anonymous D notes that to get the game to run on your PSP, "Place folder in psp/game150 or psp/game with 1.50 as your game kernel. 1.5 users will need to kxploit the eboot."

Here are the directions for the game:
  • d pad = move hand
  • triangle = exit
  • x = grab or confirm
  • circle = increase hand speed
  • square = decrease hand speed
  • L = increase console speed
  • R = decrease console speed
Note that by increasing the console speed or decreasing the hand speed will increase the number of points you get per successful catch, while decreasing the console speed or increasing the hand speed will lessen the number of points you acquire.

That being said, enjoy the game, and don't forget to check the readme.

So that you know you can get more or less points depending on how you set the speed of things.

» Great!

This is a pretty good game. One thing I would change though is that it go to the menu or something pop up after time has run out to let you know you're starting a new game.
