KILL TURKEY! NOW!!! DIE!!

Here at QJ, we are gladdened by each and every reader that takes the time to read and comment on the articles we've made, even if they're about first posts or about how horrendously atrocious our writing skills are. Even if you hate us, we take it as a sign of love, and we're thankful that you love us all so much.

We're also thankful for people like TacticalPenguin/-TacticalPaper-. Without the homebrew community">homebrew community">homebrew community">homebrew community and its host of eager, well-meaning, and possibly psychotic developers, we'd never be able to smile at the cute surreality of chasing a penguin in an attempt to perform penguinocide. As much as we love penguins here at QJ (we have a Linux doll placed beside a cowdog and a statue of fertility), the excitement behind chasing penguins is probably the same feeling you'd get from playing Rayman Raving Rabbids.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, there's a new version of Chase the Penguin v1.0 out for people to try. Just one thing: there ain't no penguins in this game. Instead, you've got an equally cute turkey to hunt down and shoot. Of course, you could also become the turkey and run away from the crosshairs. The basic games are all there for you to mess around with; only your target has changed.

This Thanksgiving, there's no greater joy than to count your blessings and be happy for everything you've received. Be thankful for a new version of Chase the Penguin, and also be thankful of this reminder: Check the readme for help with installing this LUA game. You don't want to brick your PSP, do you?

Season's Greetings to all, and may many turkeys die by your fingers.

Awww, we love you guys. I'm not playing this LUA game anyway. It's not that I diss this as an awful game or anything, it's just that I'm way too lazy to try it. But hey, props to the creator. Get the damn turkey!

.

A sprite and text string change shouldn't warrant a 1.0 release. There was something else I was going to say... OH! Learn C++.
by - 2006-11-24 08:41:28
It was already 1.0

I already released 1.0, this is 1.0 TE. I know C is a lot better, but Im too lazy to setup CYGWIN and i camn work on lua with any computer that has notepad. Lets see kirbymctroll learn C first, then ill follow. Lua is a good beginners language, and im a beginner. I made TE in about 5-10 minutes, im mostly working on a new project right now.
