Capture the Flag 0.1 |
Ó
Freshmilk has just tipped us off about his latest homebrew game for the PSP, and as you can probably guess from the title it isn't TTR! He's taken a little bit of a break since Table Top Rally v1.0 was released and has been coding (in LUA) his latest invention titled Capture the Flag v0.1.
This game comes in EBOOT form so there's no need for LuaPlayer - so don't immediately switch off. The title is pretty self-explanatory but here's what Freshmilk said: "The objective is very simple; snatch the enemies' flag and make it back to you own base, without touching anyone [enemies] on the way."
The first levels are very easy as the enemies are pretty slow and you can get around them easily. However, as you progress through the levels the enemies get faster, and you'll have to think of new strategies to get past them. First commenters may want to stay away from this game, as you might be forced to think!
This is the first release and therefore not everything is peachy. At the moment the arrows cannot hurt you and are pretty intermittent in appearance, but the levels are still pretty difficult. The graphics have been painstakingly created in MS Paint, so they might not be up to the standard of the flashy TTR just yet, but expect more updates in the future.
This game is really fun to play, especially if you're going on a long journey and have nothing else to do. Be sure to leave feedback in the forum release thread. Your suggestions might even make the next release!

No, but seriously, any suggestions, bugs or anythign you wanna say about the game, you can say it here if you like. I'll check back here tommorow for any comments you may have posted. Til then, have fun playing.
its game was kinda lame!! i wish something nice would come out like a 3.03 OE-B IRshell or a new N64 emulator!! Just something interesting would be nice
Loser ^^^
Did... Did you just compare a capture the flag game to an N64 emulator?
who the fack wants a 1998 n64 on there psp?
sounds excellent downloading now! and whothefack--- the same people who want a 1995 PS1 emulator on their psp. (me and most psp junkies)
SORRY FOR THE CAPS...sorry,but i dont know if its a rumor or its true that Grand theft auto VCS is no longer exclusive for PSP. I heard that ESBR(i hope i typed it correctly)showed GTA:VCS for ps2.
its never was and never will be b00n!
i've played this game years ago, twas a flash game on a site full of arcade games; it was ok at bes on the pc..a more amateur version on the psp...well, not worth the download
I would like Zelda Ocarina of Time portable. As for the other guy of course the N64 emu is way better then this, this is just a lua CTF game which (the flash one i played) was kinda addicitng so ill probaly download this. gj freshmilk.
"First Commenters may have to actually think for this one" HAHA PWNED! Go Kyle M!
