SG57, with help from xploren, has been rather busy working on a PSP Lua version of the Flash-abridging of Call of Duty 2. Let's clarify that: there is a Flash game based on Call of Duty 2, and SG57's been devving that to Lua for the PSP. Of course he's tweaking it a bit, adding a few more features, and as of now, there's a ton of stuff he's accomplished for the game. Quite a ton of stuff - visit the release thread and you'll see what we mean.
Still a few more stuff to do, though, and until then, SG57 has these screens and a YouTube gameplay video up on the forums. You have to admit: relatively clean, pro-looking, quite impressive, this is what is meant by pushing it to the limit. Lots of work remains, but it looks like Call of Duty 2 - PSP Edition (title may change) has come far already.

Why do people insist on using the IP of another company. I commend the dev for working on something but please, stop with the use of other peoples IP. The only thing related to COD is probably the screen shot and images, so why INVITE trouble by calling it COD2? At least limit the possibility of a cease and desist BEFORE it happens.

dude what are yall b*tching about? this game looks sweet compared to most homebrew games. and that was just a demo.. its not gonna show everything the game can do. that was merely to show how it all works, and how theres some realistic things like how bullets can hit the walls, and not the sky. give it time, itll be one of the greater homebrew games if he keeps it up! thanks! cant wait for a full release!

All you n00bs who complain, what have you ever done to help the homebrew scene? This man does NOT make things to get paid, only for our pleasure. At least he even has the balls to make something. If you don't like it, then gtfo and don't make a comment you bunch of cry babies. Jesus Christ at least a few of us are greatful for what some people do at the thoughts of others. As for the people who complain and critisize blindly, you can go screw yourselves. After you make a better game and have contributed to the PSP scene, than you can make a comment. The forum have rules against any copyrighted work being posted to the main site but what ever. As for the game, fine he is doing something unlike the rest of you/me, but ( "I think this is crap" ) just what the world needs another WW2 game and a remake at that. For all you that complain about QJ's news blogging, QJ has the most adds of any site for the "scene" but yet the adds are not targeted at all, it's just whatever pays out the most. plus they have a development forum and all the guides you need. Why... because it makes them money for the developers hard work, I know the developers do it for the scene, but QJ would post a blog if you made HELLO WORLD look cool. It all about the money, I don't care what anyone says, you can double talk all you want.. it's the truth...
Te.. I don't care that QJ makes money, For what they do, They should be paid even more! Hell, i would not be Developing Homebrew Games if it wasn't for QJ and there forums. I think its pretty cool that they blog about games/apps that were made by new dever's, such as myself. PvP Pong Online or v4 got well over 2000 downloads....you think that would have happened without QJ? forget about it. Plus, i usually get the games/apps that these new developers make just to try it out, and some of them are pretty damn cool :) So step off QJ...... more "On topic" I wouldn't be flaming SG57, he's a Damn good coder :P

You guys have no idea how much it takes to make a Homebrew game. If you made one, would you like it if people said it sucked balls and that *****? Have some respect. Goddam, you guys should try to make a homebrew game or some other program like that. It would teach you how much hard work it takes to make one.
