Ó

A new version of Boxy II by Ghoti came out today, and trust me, it's no square.  One of the major updates is that there is now a random game mode, which (check this out) randomly selects backgrounds!  The game looks great, very professionally built.  Here are a few screenshots.

Things that Ghoti is hoping to put in the next build are as follows.

- Chaos game mode (still busy with it, a few specials are in place)
- Trigame game mode (not sure if it will be implemented)
- Mp3 playback (I will not include any copyright protected music so you'll have to add the yourselves probably :S )
- Game over screen makeover :)
- Highscores for each game mode
- Animated backgrounds (don't know sure yet)
- strange bugs posted on the EMU forum haven't fixed them yet, still working on them. (when you press left at the same high as the blocks left or right.)

Thanks for the great work Ghoti!

Yes it is like lumines, the classic game is just lumines, but the next modes that will be implemented some version will have more different game parts/items/modes/styles like bombs and stuff but first i'd like to have the classic and random mode fully correct but stay tuned :)

» Good work Ghoti

Hey! This is coming along nicely, man... Bugs? So what...everybody gets the bugs when starting off a project. Can't wait to see those new modes you're gonna cook up next. Overall...minus the bugs, it's looking great. Keep it up. You have my respect.
