Developer roe-ur-boat was able to come up with some significant changes to the latest version of the homebrew game Basket Catch. The newest build buffs up the game's visuals by giving it improved graphics, as well as adding some changes to the gameplay.

As you might have already figured out from the title, Basket Catch is a homebrew game for the PlayStation Portable where the goal is to catch the falling eggs from the sky while trying to rack up a higher score.

While the game is rather simple in nature, the new update raises the difficulty up by several notches. The higher you progress, the more eggs fall from the sky. Those who've downloaded the previous version of the game will also notice that version 1.0 has done away with the stick figure characters and traded them in for some nice graphical improvements (with the "Basket Catchers" resembling a certain Nintendo character... ahem!).

In any case, here's the list of improvements added to the latest version of Basket Catch:

1.0
  • Added a new powerup
  • Improved animation
  • Improved random function
  • Improved the way the eggs fall
  • Improved Graphics (thanks squee666)
Don't forget to check out the Readme.txt file included in the downloadable archive of the game below for a complete list of changes since the first release of the homebrew game. In any case, we hope you enjoy the download!
