Asterz v1.1: bug fixes, high score now saves in Arcade Mode |
Ó
PSP homebrew dev Slasher has released a new version of Asterz, the 3D arcade game patterned by the classic Arcade game, Asteroids. The homebrew game has received a righteous bug squashing, as well as a couple of new features, such as being able to save high scores for Arcade Mode. Here's the changelog:
- Fixed a game compromising bug
- Fixed Arcade Mode. Enemies would stop coming after you reached a score of 10000
- Fixed Level 10 from continuing on even if your ship died, thus allowing you to beat the game even if you were dead
- Increased difficulty of Arcade Mode slightly
- Added a high score saver for Arcade Mode
- Changed eboot icon

Comments [refresh]
3D homebrew FTW =D
first version was enough for me to not like this game...
Wow, bmxadan, unappreciative comments such as your own are so goddamn helpful in helping me address any issues or to improve my game here. I've stressed time and time again for people to drop me some suggestions or to voice their opinion but virtually nobody *****ing helps at all.
Mind elaborating upon your opinion? I would appreciate it. I've obviously put a lot of work into this and if it isn't "fun", then what can I do to improve that?
stfu n00b.
m3rox, you're useless. *****ing useless.
I'm useless because you can't create ***** people are interested in?
The point of developing something isn't to make people feel obligated to be interested in it. I fail to see the connection between my comment, and your response. It's clear that your useless mentality, complimented by your useless comments, makes it too hard for you to make the implicitly suggested connection with your useless little brain.
You my friend are a leach, selfishly sucking the PSP scene dry. You aren't appreciated here, so gtfo you worthless bottom feeder.
Now go take your man-pleaser and stick it back in your *****-holster, because quite frankly I'm not interested in your nonsensical jibberjabbing.
Leave Slasher alone. the only ppl that say stuff like
"first version was enough for me to not like this game... "
and
"stfu n00b."
obviously dont know how much time and effort Slasher put into this game. i for one, admire your attention span and skills to develop such a game.
I use OpenGL on the PC, and randomly program for the PSP so i have a slight idea of that daunting task. good job Slasher, fellow dev.
I'm impressed. You guys actually managed to scare me away from the PSP scene :( I'm leaving forever because a programmer thinks he's god and deserves to be hailed as such because he can code a *****ty app.
Go back to making pong clones you asshat.
m3rox, go die in a ditch you inconsiderate *****. you children need to stop trolling and take your comments to retarded parents that obviously failed to raise you as a normal child. Until you have passed the 2nd grade don't come back wasting slasher's time with your garbage comment little boy. Stay away from the psp homebrew scene and put that time to good use in class. Now, slasher. i dont know what else you can do to make a game like asteroids any better, because that game was quite boring to begin with honestly. maybe you can start twisting things up with visual effects and turn it into an action packed game or something haha. mmm my example would be something like super stardust portable. flashy explosions + more weapons + upgrades = WIN!
I think it's a great game, downloaded this morning. Make the explosions a bit more spectacular and a few more upgrades and types of enemy and it'll be even more amazing :)
