Homebrew developer waywardson has released the game Ashura the Hedgehog for the Sony PlayStation Portable. Yes, Ashura was a glitch character that appeared back in the second game from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.  Now that's settled, let's get back on topic here. According to the dev, this is only a demo release of the homebrew game Ashura the Hedgehog where you'll be playing as Sonic's color palette swap in the two playable levels of the game.

Since this is just a demo, expect the game to have added features or changes once waywardson decides to release the full version in the future. Some forum-goers have already expressed their desire to have some features added or changed in this homebrew game. Having the ability to go back a few steps would definitely be helpful especially if you missed a few rings in your haste to avoid the gigantic crabs in there.

Check out the game, and once you've experienced playing through it, make sure to join the discussion in the PSP Development Forums (link below). Enjoy!
