Just because submissions for the NeoFlash Spring Compo 2008 homebrew contest are finally over it doesn't mean that developers no longer have to update the programs that they worked so hard on. BlackShark recently rolled out the newest version of the Lunar Lander-like homebrew game for the PlayStation Portable with Aap Lander v.2.

This latest build of the game took care of a couple of bugs, such as setting definite boundaries on the current maps and preventing players from aimless wandering the edge of the map. The developer also toned down the difficulty on some of the harder maps.

Aap Lander v.2 comes with the previously bundled map editor as well as the source code for the game to allow other developers to make mods should they feel like doing so. The bundle also includes two versions which are compatible with the latest custom firmware and kxploited version 1.5, respectively.

Don't forget to take a look at the Readme.txt file included in the archive for more details on the game. You can also discuss Aap Lander v.2 with the author on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum by clicking on the link we've provided below.
