Is 2D Tic Tac Toe just too easy for you? If you've tried the others, now check this one out. That's the best way we can describe 3D Tic Tac Toe, it's just like playing in 2D but much more challenging. How would you feel if Gran Turismo for the PSP was in 2D? Not very happy we'd presume, so why stay in the past and play 2D Tic Tac Toe? LMelior from our forums has released his trial game for an isometric tiling system he made on Lua today.

This great little homebrew game includes both 3x3x3 and 4x4x4 grids as well as a fairly good AI that will most probably beat you if you haven't played 3D Tic Tac Toe before. There aren't any sounds but you can listen to the sound of your brain ticking over trying to beat the AI on a 4x4x4 grid on the hardest difficulty setting - It's like music to your ears.

really nice and all, 3d, but this game will always be won by the player who starts if he plays at his best. Not that normal tic-tac-toe is any better...

Bad analogy

GT has never been 2-Dimensional. Whereas tic tac toe is primarily a paper and pen game with the addition of a dimension in this game.

3d tic tac toe

the 3x3x3 game is retarded. whoever goes first will go in hte middle, and invariably win.
