*UPDATE*: PSPMSX: MSX Emulator for PSP v1.0.9 (fix Snatcher) |
Listed in: Homebrew Emulators, Emulators Tags: MSX, psp homebrew emulators, PSPMSX
Ó
Zx-81 has dropped by our forums to drop off, and we quote: "*Wink* PSPMSX: MSX Emulator for PSP v1.0.8 (ultimate)." We really quote - the wink smiley was there. Does "ultimate" mean that Zx's MSX emulator doesn't get better than this? (It just did: check the *Update!* above)And dang, hasn't Zx been a busy little bee lately. With all of his homebrew emulator releases, like boom, boom, BOOM!, and now this BOOM. But it doesn't end here, because there's one more boom to cover before Zx takes a well-deserved rest. But before we get there, the deets on v1.0.8 (ultimate), and then the download and discuss links:
- Add option to enable the sound and musix chips (FM-AM and Music modules) required by several games. It's slow down the emulator, so use it with care.
- Add a new render mode (max) to fit the entire MSX screen
- Add missing MSX keys (thanks to Creepy)
- Fix 3.10-OE black screen bug in smooth mode (thanks to Creepy for his feedback)

4. LOADING MSX ROM FILES
------------
If you want to load rom image in your emulator, you have to put your rom file
(with .zip, .rom, .mx1 or .mx2 file extension) on your PSP memory stick in the
'roms' directory.
Then, while inside PSPMSX emulator, just press SELECT to enter in
the emulator main menu, and then using the file selector choose one
rom file to load in your emulator.
