Unofficial gpSP Kai v3.2 test 05 |
Ó
PSP homebrew developer Takka recently updated the latest version of
gpSP Kai to address a few issues that were in the last
build. Unofficial gpSP Kai version 3.2 test 05 did a lot of changes to the source
directory, added kernel mode-specific functions, supports full-screen
TV output, and pitched in other improvements to the Sony PlayStation
Portable homebrew emulator. As a recap for those who are still unfamiliar with gpSP, this release by Takka is an unofficial version of the original Nintendo Gameboy Advance emulator for the Sony PSP made by homebrew developer Exophase. Takka's gpSP Kai is getting constant updates to improve the GBA experience on the Sony handheld.
This release offers significant changes that you'll probably recognize instantly after checking out the Readme file. The most notable new feature is support for the PSP Slim TV-out function. A post on Takka's blog shows some promising improvements to be added to gpSP Kai v3.2 test 06, so keep it here as we report more on this GBA emulator.

Yay an update finally =)
This made my day better!
Since I dont own a slim the only thing that would really make the gpsp emu better would be multiplayer either wifi ... adhoc ... or both =]
Thanks Takka
stick with the official version
Just looks like crap at the moment. Good progress though. I was actually able to see the game on my older tv's. The screen jump around a lot though. Not at all playable.
It's activated as soon as you load up a game and have the cables connected. You don't need to do it through XMB unless you have an HDTV then you ALWAYS should. ^_^
ok. its been about 4 weeks overdue this is totaly non related but still people should read this post lol
Shut the hell up and make it yourself if you want it so bad.
it looks pretty decent on component cable and hdtv. you probably shouldn't buy a composite cable...they kinda suck.
now that's a burn to nintendo:
the gamecube could play gba games, but the wii can't, but a sony product is able to emulate the GBA AND emulate a function of the GC that the wii can't. Or maybe it's just the e-reader that doesn't work with wii? I forgot which it was.
BTW, they should call the newest ereader the "wii-reader". Because it rhymes.
Also, I'm a geek.
I was looking forward to getting the first homebrew emulator running fullscreen on my 19 monitor.
Is this suppose to run gameboy advanced emulator on a tv with composite cable?
I can't get it to run fullscreen, just the normal size as any psp game or emulator.
I've selected all the video options in the emulators video settings, with no joy.
still awaiting an emulator that runs fullscreen.
