Surprise, Suprise! NEOGEO Emulator Updated to v0.1.2 |
By now, you're either sick of us telling you that the NeoGeo Emulator for PSP has been updated or you're equally fascinated as I am because of how fast and how keen NJ is when it comes to improving his homebrew emulator. Yes folks, mere hours after we posted the NeoGeo Emulator for PSP v0.1.1, the good developer has come up with version 0.1.2. Truly, this guy has outdone himself! I don't really have much to say, I'm still quite awestruck with this development.Anyway, there were some of you who mentioned that they encountered minor problems while running the emulator, but they were able to remedy those minor glitches and the app is working fine now. In an effort to really bring out the best of this awesome must-have emulator for PSP owners, the good developer has released v0.1.2 which actually fixes a minor but potentially fatal bug. And with all that said, we go over to the changelog translated by, who else, QJ's Jeff Chen.
ver0.1.2 Changelog
- Fixed a problem that a part of the menu may damage the stack. This is a minor but dangerous fix.

Instead of bringing out versions every so often couldn't they just bring out like a stable releases?? (P.S Im not a first poster freak, I just wanna piss the kids off)
i think thats wat sum1s doing for their 64 emulator thats ment to b coming out this week just bringing out a stable release insted of giving us all his little tests

why anyone would still have a 2.6 firmware is beyond me and completely stupid. DOWNGRADE YOUR PSP TO 1.5!!!! the only people who have an excuse is teh 2.7 idiots and ppl with the newer psps, and those people need to trade or kill themseves
its great that he keeps updating this emulator to the people moaning about why so many updates? how do you think he can produce a program that is totally stable without people testing the currant version and reporting bugs? there is currently psp's out there with firmware 1.0 1.5 1.51 1.52 2.0 2.01 2.5 2.6..... im sure you havent got a psp for every firmware so why expect NJ too??? he's mainly fixing bugs now... the ones we report in places like this... ANYWAY NOTE TO QJ STAFF GO TO NJ'S SITE!! THERES A NEW NEOCDZ V0.5 BUT WE NEED A TRANSLATION

i cant get mslugs to work..says not working in the list too... :/
ok So I got them and put them on the Roms. When I try to load them it loads everything! but then it says ERROR : Could not allocate Region_GFX3 memory try to use spriter cache
Got it working! Got metal slug and did that converter thing. NOW IT WORKS
use the converter program with metal slug to create a cache, then copy the cache to the psp cache folder in the ngepsp folder
anyone managed to get metal slug 3 to work?
where did u get ure Metal Slug rom. coz i got mines at RomHustler.net and but it dosent seem to work. It always say ERROR before i can even convert it.
has anybody been able to run any of the King Of Fighters games? iv been tryin but i get the "Region gfx3 memory" error...and for some reason i cant convert the roms either...
may want to try same game, but get the rom from different place, romnation seems to work well
I got the KoF 96 and that one works! Little Slow though and I got the Metal Slug Roms at MSDB.com Great Site =D Just check on the left hand side of the site.
If you need help aim i will tell you what to do my aim: Turnpiketexas its pretty simple. I got metal slug 1 and X to work i dont know why this doesnt create a lot of buzz this is awesome!!!!

i know this is brilliant, but the translation makes it sound so complicated, its really simple!
love this emulator, but at this point, it stutters like crazy and a lot of games have no sound. Works really well for the earlier neogeo games though
It actually seems about 10 fps slower than a couple versions back....

That isn't NeoGeo..SvC Chaos was the only "VS." title SNK made (thankfully).
you need the neogeo BIOS file called neogeo.zip google it and youcan find it

Because you have the wrong romset... tell what game you want to play and ill tell you the right set (but not where to get it from)...
Alright, I just got into this psp emulation thing. So I noticed there's no rom sites and tutorials on how to do these things. Leaving me with a big WTF sign on my face.
