PSPVECX 1.01 - The Vectrex Emulator for PSP |

Samstag from our forums has released an expanded public release of the PSPVECX 1.01 Vectrex emulator.The Vectrex was a home console released in 1982 that included a vertically oriented vector monitor which was a desktop-sized Asteroids/Tempest-type display. The original console was also unique in that it included a built-in Asteroids clone (Mine Storm) and used a four-button control with an analog joystick. The Vectrex still has a very loyal following of fans and a healthy community of homebrew game programmers. Despite the age of the console, commercial games are still released once in a while.
PSPVECX is a port of the VECX Windows emulator written by Valavan Manohararajah. This version plays the built-in Mine Storm game. This is a work in progress. Future releases will add support for other games, sounds, better video emulation, etc. It has been tested on firmware 1.5 and 2.0 using Fanjita's loader version 0.8.5. It should also work on 1.0 but has not been tested.

I GOT IT WORKING! i used seipsptool, google if you dont have it, and used the eboot from the folder without the % exported it to my 1.5 now its working.
Sorry guys. I think I must have broke 1.5 compatibility when I added an icon and background. You can get a copy of the eboot without them here.
Actually the eboot above won't work either. Try this repack with versions for either 1.5 or 1.0 created with Seipsptool (thanks joesnose).

i used to have a vectrex :)
Oh, I would absolutely love a fully functional Vetrex EMU for the PSP but have the same problem that joesnose got.
You go to run and it crashes with an error 80020001.
This is on a 1.5 system.
Look forward to trying out a working version.

oooooooooooh i miss my Vetrex. As a kid I had all that stuff. Iwonder what ever happened to that thing? this I'll definitely try out.
