PlayStation Portable - Image 1Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer Zx-81 is back with more goodies, this time releasing a new version of his emulator PSPTI99 for Texas Instrument machine TI-99. As you probably know by now , this app faithfully imitates the TI-99/4 model to let the Sony PSP do some cool stuff.

A handful of improvements have been made, specifically:
  • Add save state feature !
  • Display and save thumbnail images for each save state
  • Disable speech system (make the emulator to freeze)
  • Bug fix in the render function (dark screen)
In addition to the basic computing capabilities that the emulator entails, old-school games can also be run on the emulated platform. This includes such hits as Popeye, Congo Bongo and Space Invaders. Installation is easy and the guide is right on the readme file. Enjoy!
