PSPSIM - Image 1Homebrew coder Zx-81 has just updated the PSPSIM homebrew, which is now running at version 1.0.4. This application is an emulator for games built to run on the SAM Coupe - an 8-bit Z80-based home computer system originally developed by Miles Gordon Technology back in 1989. And much like the updates for PSPYape, PSP7800, and PSPMSX, this emulator now uses the PSP GPU for rendering - full explanations on what it does below:
  • New graphical functions with new smoother render modes. It uses the PSP GPU for rendering, it does not run faster, but it's a lot smoother.
  • Multiple keyboard mapping feature (Thanks to Pou-chan)
  • Bug fix in Rom file request.
  • Add help menu
Do remember to view the README - it contains the application's installation instructions, along with other important notes like how to load games. Also make sure to visit Zx-81's spot at the forums to get a full 411 on what else he's working on. Enjoy the download!
