PSPInt - Intellivision Emulator for PSP v1.0.5 Unleashed |
Ó

zx-81, one of the most active homebrew developers is at it again. He has just updated his Intellivision emulator to v1.0.5. And this guy is a freaking machine, just yesterday, he released v1.0.4. This proves the furious pace which he works at. If you're just getting into development and are looking for some inspiration, make this guy your role-model. Seriously!
The new version, has only one addition, but a good one at that. He has included a new virtual keyboard, made by DrNicket - a respected member of our forums. Just like his other releases, this one also contains 2 versions - one for 1.5, and the other for 2.0 and above. Plus the sources are included too!

Cagare fa........vaffanculo psp-xbox troiaaaaa
who wants to play this ? seriously please ?
They should just work on the emu for like a month then release the final version.
Love the pong screenshot. That should make all the babies who wine about ZX-81's 'old' emulators cry even more. "Wahhh! It's so old! Wahhh! You should make a N64 emulator! Wahhh!" Great work ZX-81, keep em coming!
i agree with #5 just hillarious
They need to have a way of putting the overlays for the emulator.Playing cloudy mountain is way too tough with out all the buttons mapped....or we need to have a group of people who map pout the keys for certain games. The complictaed games are too hard to play with out the key slips. Time to go bust out my old intellivision to get my fix ....also check out this site for the slips for games http://www.hotcom.com/intellivision/
Who cares? I'm tired of seeing releases of this every 3 seconds on PSP updates, it's almost getting as bad as all those *****ty LUA games. Please, do as #4 says and work on it for a while, and just release a final version or something.
I wish there were updates EVERY DAY. I love all of the emulators and can't get enough of them. Who wants these? I know I do. Some of us grew up in the 70's and 80's so we definitely appreciate the work that's going into these. Thanks so much for this stuff. This is WHY I got a PSP (seriously), I knew the hack and emulator scene would thrive. Also, every emulator gives others ideas to build something else so even if you don't like this one, it's a stepping stone to something you will probably like in the future. Keep 'em coming, there are a lot of us supporting you.
Happy to see a new version of ANY of your grat emus ZX-81 ! Just keep up the good work !!
I had totally forgotten about those cheap plastic keyslips that you only got 2 of with your intellivision carts. Wow man, you're right, the controller had a full 10 digit keyboard, and needed a card inlay to play a lot of games and yea #5 totally true
this site should be renamed to pspspam.qj.net becuase no not only are most of the comments full of spam but even the updates are spam like all these little 5 min made tic tack toe lua games ad these old pong emulator. I thought developers enjoy making homebrew thats challenging. If you want to be a role model, work on something thats challenging where its not so easy that you can spit out 5 updates a week. Heres an idea for you old farts needing your old one button joystick games of your childhood emulated. Take ALL of these different atari clone emulators and put it into one big emulator that can run any of these ancient roms and make it easy to use so anyone could use it. Not only will that stop the amount of spamming of this crap being posted on pspu, it will make all you grampas and grandmas and middle aged guys living in your parents basements relive your whole childhood experience without having to download 120930293e+128 different emulators
ZX-81... I love you. Please don't let the titty babies affect you in any way. They were probably all born in the 90's and don't have oldschool roots, and memories with family/siblings & friends that may not be with us anymore to these fantastic machines you've worked so tirelessly on. Sorry if I'm ranting but I have the utmost respect for what you are doing. And yes we need a plastic slip deal. AD&D really needs it among many others. That would be the icing on this already fine cake. Appreciate it, and in about 2 weeks I'm runnin into a bit of $$$ so expect to see a donation from me.
Pong emulator? Noob some1 please remove that before someone he knows reads it! Rofl this baby's hardware(thats the actual home machine) was as advanced as the snes, but the software(thats the games) and developers(people who make games) had no clue what to do with it. Keep your ignorance to yourself and skip down to the N64 "PipeDream" emulators news. Hope I have helped enlighten you.
Many many thanks to all of you :). On this release, thanks should go also to DrNicket :). @5: looool, i love this screenshot too :) !
Please Zx-81 Its ok when u develope something , but its kinda annoying to see an update for every little thing like one new button updated , its kinda useless and spammi So what about you spend sometime with ur emulators and make a big one ( all emus together) or something like that instead of posting a new update every 5 hours :)
Should i ask you the permission before writting a new post on my blog ?
Hey Chris I want to take a piss... can I? is it ok with you if I do?
The answer is NO, unless you let chris hold it for a little bit first. Don't mind the vigorous shaking, as it's just to get the last two drops out. Keep up the good work ZX-81, ignore the whining babies. Thanks for me to engage in some serious nostalgia!
this is so g a y and your g a y too if you download this *****
Illegal Machine: "Wow man, you're right, the controller had a full 10 digit keyboard, and needed a card inlay to play a lot of games" Actually it had a 12 button keypad with four side buttons (the top ones did the same thing though; must have had lefty's on staff to be so considerate) and an 8-direction disc (not fully realized again in a controller until SNES). I plan on creating Overlay skins for all my favorite games and for those I get requests for (as long as you're polite about it). Also, I'm having issues with the alpha transparency with the .png which I should have ironed out shortly. I'm working on AD&D Treasure of Tarmin right now. I should have it ready by tomorrow or Tuesday. If there are any special requests, please PM or e-mail me via my forum profile. Time for Zx-81 to work on an overlay selector methinks (Heh heh sorry man, I started something here I think; I originally created it for myself but thought to share it with Zx-81. I never thought he'd include it in a release, let alone AS a release). Thanks to all who support developers lik Zx-81. He's not to blame for wanting to make the program better. It's not like it's a firmware update... geez. When an issue arises or a new idea gets fleshed out, wouldn't you want it right away rather than waiting forever for everything to be ready? They call that vapourware my friends.
It sounds good, i can developp a keyboard skin selector ... gonna see this feature when you will have finished to design some keyboard skins for your favorite games :).
Duh solved the alpha channel problem (a stupid one at that). I now have the Utopia and Tarmin Skins completed. What shall I work on next? Cloudy Mountain I believe was the first request...
