PSPColEm v1.0.7 |
Ó
Zx-81 is back after a temporary hiatus from the homebrew community and has now released an update of his homebrew emulator, thus pitching it up to PSPColEm v1.0.7. Here's the full changelog:- Add help menu
- Bug fix in PNG screenshots (bad colors)
- Bug fix in the file selector (state files loading)
- Bug fix in the keyboard menu
All you ever need to know is on the readme file and sources are even included in the archive. Zx releases this under the GNU public license - you can check the copying.txt for more info on that.
Finally, we'd like to get the attention of PSP newbies who got PSPs for Christmas: Welcome to the PSP community! Check out the FAQs, Guides, and Tutorials at our forums. You might want to take a close look at the Guides: General PSP for general PSP stuff (like figuring out the version of "firmware" you have in your PSP), and then you can get into homebrew by reading the threads in the Guides: Hacks, Homebrew and Emulators forum. Recommended reading includes the ULTIMATE Homebrew Guide and the The Ultimate QJ Guide.

FIRST
your a noobie first.
but i wanted to get a point across right - on my psp i can emulate - PS1 (virtually perfect), Neo Geo + Neo Geo CD (pretty much perfect) N64 (slowly), SNES (bit faster) Sega Megadrive (perfect) a load of 8bit machine pretty much perfect i just wonder why they bother making these emulators, i personnally haven't got all day to play games so im just going to play stuff thats good - ie produced within the last 15 years or so, why anyone wants to play a ZX81, spectrum, msx, amstrad, this thing, atari 2600 or basically anything before a Nes or mastersytem is beyond me, even before 16bit is pushing it nowdays - people say its nostalgia - but how do you go from a kickass games with topnotch graphix and sound of XBox 360/PS3 or our very own PSP to the sprity block sh_t_y screachy games of yesteryear?? i dont know!! i think the people who play this crap must still be walking round with one of those crappy old green screen nokias with snake on it i know you'll all moan about this bit but hey - i dont care about people desperatly trying to hang on to there youth, im 35, and have been playing games/computers/consoles since i got one of those Grandstand things in about 1978 so believe me i know retro aint all that - which would you rather watch? Spiderman made in th 70's or spiderman made in the 2000's??? hahahaha I just know some sad git is going to say the 70's one :) ps - im not dissing zx81 just this olde world retro thing -
Yes I sort of agree, but I think it might have a little to do with the younger folks actually, as myself being born 1990 I haven't experienced the amiga but I would seriously want to try AmigaOS on my PSP (but I haven't really understood where to put the files and stuff...) and also most new games lack feeling, Sonic the hedgehog (Genesis) is way better than most of the new games I've seen lately, and new versions of good old games too (sonic advance sucks...)
Actually what I find more annoying is the brain dead piece of crap, with 3.00 Hardware who waits on here, and creams there pants in excitement cos they got the first post... I think first should swop his PSP for a brain
what does this do
SECOND and first has no mates can come suck mine
