PSPAtari v1.0.3 Unveiled |
Ó

Aren't you lucky! Emulator god Zx-81 has offered us a second helping of PSP emulation perfection today with the release of PSPAtari: Atari 800/130/5200 Emulator for PSP v1.0.3. This updated version includes many changes to the last version including better sound support, bug fixes and updated features. Here's the changelog:
- Improved the sound, it's now much better
- The percent of battery left is now displayed in the emulator window
- Add a watchdog to automatically return to the emulator menu when the battery is very low (< 5%)
- Enter directly in the emulator menu on startup (instead of the ATARI screen)
- Bug fix in smooth image algorithm (resulting in wrong color display)
- Added keyboard change skin option (you can add your own virtual keyboard images in the graphics directory).
- Modified the file requester to memorize separately the last locations/directory of rom image and keyboard
As always, make sure you read the readme for instructions on how to use this emulator. Both 1.5 KXploited and 2.0+ EBOOTs are included in the download, as well as the source code for both versions for coders to take a look at.

I LOVE SHARKS 1st
I
zx-81 you are incredible! But can you add support for 2600 or maybe just release a stand alone 2600 emulator? 2600 is my baby. :(
I have yet to get this emulator to load any roms except for the ones provided.
Ok Zx-81 you probably wont see this but just in case you do i'd just like to say that you are truly a great inspiration for many learning programmers including myself.
is that mel gibson's safari!?
@5 and all: thx @6: lol ! no it's pitfall :D
This dude is unfrigginbelievable!
a few days back I was looking for an Atari emu for PSP and I downloaded the only one and it wasn't compatible! You came down from heaven Zx-81 GREAT work!
same thing here #4 ....no luck with any roms.
@all: thanks @10,@4 : For those who wonder how to use 5200 Roms : You have to load them using the original atari800 emulator menu (the yellow "Atari800 menu" option in the emulator window :)). Then select "Cartridge management" then "Insert cartridge" and specify your disk image file, then choose the cartridge type 5200, and go back to the emulator using LTrigger. Zx.
Thank you very much, zx-81, I feel 20 years younger now. Keep those updates coming.....
Thanks for the tip zx, ill give it another shot.
ive tried roms from multiple sites, i tried what zx said to do, this still wont load anything for me except that defender that the emu comes with.............
All the great emus, thanx for taking the time to give to the community/scene. I appreciate this lots!
umm I cant get the 5200s to work either, could somebody post a little more detailed instruction on how to load 5200 rom files. The readme didn't explain it all that well.
