PSP homebrew: Uo FBA4PSP 23/09/2008 |
Ó

There's a new version out for Uo FBA4PSP, an unofficial release of OopsWare and lbicelyne's FinalBurn Alpha emulator for PSP. FinalBurn Alpha is an arcade emulator than lets you play MC68000/Z80 arcade games.
The changelog for this one is still in Japanese, but from what I could gather, it looks like frameskipping is now supported. There's also a fix for the sprites in Kosodate Quiz My Angel 2 along with some changes to the cache files. If there's anybody out there who's fluent in Japanese, the changelog's available at the source link.
Anyway, the download's below. It includes a short English readme taken straight from the original FBA4PSP. A list of the games supported by this emulator is also included.

I use FBA on my desktop, and I like it. It's a nice emulator, but I've played arcade roms on my PSP before and it just doesn't feel right, the PSP is lacking buttons.

This is great! I can't wait till this emu gets updated all the way.
It can play alot of great shooters, misc...

THREE DAMN BUTTONS but hey wait do u want to know something REAL AWFUL? neo geo games.... dude get ready for this it uses FOUR, FOUR buttons were doomed man. (jerk)
omg this plays cave games? pls be fullspeed-please be fullspeed...
awesome emu for psp i gotta say, just tried it and it runs most of the games fine only no fullscreen support, but im not complaining. with a little more features this app could make the cps1/cps2/mvspsp obsolete.. which are all awesome emulators btw. if your a big arcade/shmup fan definitely try this out, i recommend dodonpachi, esprade, and dangun feveron.
