Daedalus has really been improved over the last few months, keep up the good work guys
how can i get this working on psp 3000?
If you have firmware 5.03 or lower use the tiff exploit with ChickHen (above 5.03... your out of luck for now)
It gets better all the time.
Good to hear it's still moving along fast. I can't wait until I can play Majora's Mask better than the Gamecube version. And Super Smash Bros on PSP? Will be epic. :D
It's nice to here they are still working on this thing.
hear*
Its not like they stopped working on it or anything. There are usually 3 updates a week to it. http://daedalusx64.com
I think they'd be better off perfecting the single game emulators. I mean seriously. Mario 64 is the one that runs the best on it, but it still doesn't run perfect, even when there's no sound. Also. Running close to perfect with no sound on only one game. Seriously. Strmnm was working on it for how long? They've been working on it for how long since? Instead of working on an emulator that I'm sure and pretty sure they know it too, that they're never going to get running full speed with sound on any game, the entire library won't ever be compatible, and the majority of games on it won't even be playable outside of the few they're basically supporting with this emulator. Kreationz? Please work on perfecting the SNES TYL emulator. Quite a few teams started work on it, made it better than the last, and then dropped it. If you're going to put this much support in an emulator that will never succeed, why not put the support in an emulator that is almost perfect?
Emulators such as DaedalusX64 take time to make and perfect. Since you are trying to emulate the N64 on a PSP of course its not going to be perfect because of the hardware limitations. Just be happy that there are N64 emulators that exist on the PSP. And if you think that this update runs so slow then try making a N64 emulator yourself and see how much time and effort it takes to make one.
What a *****ing dumbass. The point is. The N64 emulator will never be fully compatible. The system will hardly be compatible with any games aside from the ones that they're specifically coding it to work with. Why bother having a N64 emulator when it runs like ass and when it will never be good enough to actually be truly playable? The emulator is nothing more than a novelty. Oh look I got an N64 emulator on my PSP! Too bad it runs like a piece of ***** and has never had a single version nor will ever have a single version worth downloading. Also, you're calling me ignorant? You're more ignorant on having hope that the emulator will succeed when it's obvious it won't. They should work on the emulators that were released for those specific games only and drop this one that will guaranteed never succeed in what people are hoping they accomplish. Or better yet. Work on a SNES emulator that with enough work could actually be perfected.
Goldeneye is going faster, Castlevania Legacy of Darkness runs, Majora's Mask runs awesome, Automobili Lamborgini is running great. Keeps getting better!
Mario Kart 64 is very playable if you chose to race at 150cc. I also set the framerate=1.
I agree with kupo, this has gone on long enough. They should spend their talent on another project instead of trying to achieve the impossible.
