New CaSTaway Atari ST emulator build with M33 3.71 compatibility coming soon |

Here's a short update on CaSTaway, skeezix's Atari ST emulator for the Sony PlayStation Portable handheld video game system. It's been over two years since we last posted about this emulator, but skeezix is apparently still working on it.According to the homebrew developer, a new build of the emulator is on the way. Build 006 will reportedly work on PSPs running 3.71M33 custom firmware and should be released soon. Aside from M33 support and a few more minor changes, it won't be that much different from build 005.
Skeezix also noted that, he is still "using kxploited directories in GAME150 in M33 though, for what that's worth". If you're a fan of Atari ST games or just want to try out some of the titles released for that particular platform, keep checking back here. We'll bring you more updates as they surface.

this emulator for atari st was and still is a really worth while addition.
it runs much faster than the amiga emulator, its around 2 years old and runs most games at near full speed.
if you want to try it on your slim, i have posted a working version 0f castaway 005b and a good selection of working games.
try it out on your slim, it works on custom firmwares 3.60 m33 and 3.71 m33.
what's needed skeezix, is a better menu system, it,s rather messy and slight adjustment to the sound, although it's uch clearer than the psp amiga emulator, also a way of adjusting the cpu, fps skipping.
I'll try version 006 and give you an update.
